
Greta Duran
A native Texan, Greta grew up in Dallas and is an alumna of The Hockaday School. She combined her interests in writing and psychology to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, is a graduate of University of California – Irvine’s Independent Educational Consultant certificate program, and recently became a Certified College Advisor. A proud Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) member, she serves as a Regional Coordinator facilitating monthly virtual meetings for more than thirty HECA-affiliated IECs across the western portion of the U.S.
Through the years, Greta has also held various leadership positions on education-related boards and committees in both Texas and Pennsylvania. She and her husband currently reside in El Paso, along with their dog Luke. They have two daughters–the oldest. a graduate of Muhlenberg College, lives in Dallas and the youngest moved to Chicago after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis.
